All in-district residents of Community College District 532 who are 60 years of age or older at the start of their term of enrollment may enroll in credit courses offered by the College at one half the regular in-district tuition rate with all other fees remaining unchanged.

Residents who are 65 and older and qualify financially, according to Illinois statute at the time of registration, may enroll in credit courses offered by the college without paying tuition or comprehensive fees. Additional course fees will not be waived.

For both senior citizen tuition programs, credit classes with a PCS Code of 1.1, 1.2 or 1.4 are eligible for the discount. You can find the PCS Code on the �Enrollment Information� tab of the class detail in myStudentCenter or in the �Enrollment Information� section of the �Course Detail� page of the course catalog in myStudentCenter.

Vocational credit courses (PCS Code 1.6 vocational credit) also qualify for the one-half tuition discount with all other fees remaining unchanged. The senior citizen waiver does not apply to any other Community Education classes.

If you live outside of ���������s district and are currently employed 35 or more hours a week in Lake County, you can enroll at �������� under the Business Educational Service Agreement. You�ll pay the current in-district tuition rate, including existing comprehensive fees, regardless of your place of residence.

Students using Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) benefits are also eligible for the current in-district tuition rate, including existing comprehensive fees, regardless of your place of residence.

Per the federal requirements for maintaining approval for veterans� educational benefits under 38 U.S.C. 3679(c),�military servicemembers who are on active service duty�in one of the uniformed armed services of the United States will be subject to the current in-district rate by displaying a valid United States uniformed services identification card at the�Welcome and One Stop Center.

Spouses and children of military servicemembers who are on active military duty and are stationed and present in Community College District 532 in connection with their service�are also eligible for the in-district tuition rate by displaying the valid U.S. Department of Defense/Uniformed Services Dependent Identification and Privilege Card OR the servicemember�s valid United States uniformed services identification card and military orders at the�Welcome and One Stop Center.

Per the federal requirements for maintaining approval for veterans� educational benefits under 38 U.S.C. 3679(c),�students who are entitled to assistance as described in 38 U.S.C. 3679(c)�will be subject to the current in-district tuition rate by providing their certificate of eligibility or other documentation provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to the�financial aid department.

Students are permitted to audit classes�attend without completing assignments or taking exams�by declaring their intent to audit at registration. Tuition and fees are the same as for credit classes. Audited classes do not count as prerequisites.

The last day to change from credit to audit or audit to credit is the same as the last day to receive a 100% refund. (See refund information.)

Students in the US on a valid visa (other than F-1 or F-2) are eligible for in-district rate if they can document Lake County residency via one of the methods under �Proof of Residence Status� above and submit the stating that the individual will file an application to become a permanent resident of the United States at the earliest opportunity the individual is eligible to do so.
