You are an in-district Illinois resident student if you are:

• a student who is 18 years of age or older and who has lived in Community College District #532 in some capacity other than as a student at a post-secondary education institution or a correctional institution for at least thirty (30) days prior to the first day of the semester of enrollment at ��������
• an unemancipated student under 18 who has at least one parent, stepparent or court-appointed guardian who meets the above criteria

There are some communities within Lake County where �������� only serves a part of its residents. If you live on a community college border, your property tax bill or voter registration card will name your community college.

Students who move into Community College District #532 for reasons other than attending �������� are exempt from meeting the 30-day requirement above.

You are an out-of-district Illinois resident student if you live in Illinois, but you are not a resident of Community College District #532. This includes residents of the Barrington, Ill., public high school district.

You are an out-of-state Illinois resident student if you are:

• a person who is not a resident of the state of Illinois
• an international student and other non-immigrant alien
• declaring your permanent residence to be outside the state of Illinois
• not living within Illinois for at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester
