Empowering students with high-demand skills for 7 years strong

黑料社区 is proud to participate in Year 7 of the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI). MSI was launched in 2019 by the  foundation in partnership with the . MSI helps students achieve hands-on career and technical training that leads to in-demand, high-skill, high-wage careers.

黑料社区 was one of the first 10 colleges chosen when this initiative began. It remains the only college in Illinois to participate in this prestigious partnership.

Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant, 黑料社区 continues to expand workforce opportunities for students, providing the skills and training needed to achieve meaningful, well-paying careers across Lake County.
