Join some of the most creative minds around for a day of invention and discovery at the . On Saturday, April 18, the PE Center at ���������s (��������) Grayslake Campus will transform into a playground for makers, tinkerers, engineers, artists and innovators of all ages. Admission is free�bring your curiosity and get ready to explore, create and be inspired.

Maker Faire is a celebration of all things you can make, from engineering and science to crafting and design. The event also highlights ���������s Baxter Innovation Lab, a hub for makers since 2018. More than 1,500 people attended last year�s event.

"Whether you�re just starting your creative journey or you�re a seasoned maker, Maker Faire Lake County brings the best local resources and opportunities right to your doorstep,� said Engineering Instructor Jan Edwards.

More than just Maker Faire

The final round of the Lake County Robotics Competition for students in grades 7-12 will also take place at Maker Faire, adding an extra level of excitement for young innovators.

�������� is hosting Open House the same day, at all three campuses, the Advanced Technology Center and the student-managed Prairie Restaurant at Brae Loch, making April 18 a perfect day to experience all that �������� has to offer.

Road closure for construction

Due to construction, the Washington Street entrance will be closed to most traffic April 1 to June 30. For alternate routes, take Route 45 or Atkinson Road to Brae Loch Road and enter off Brae Loch Road. All traffic must enter from Brae Loch Road.
