You don檛 need to see Hamilton before attending this deliriously funny parody of Broadway檚 greatest hits.

On Sunday, March 1 at 7 p.m., Spamilton: An American Parody will take the James Lumber Center檚 Mainstage for a night filled with side-splitting celebrity satires and pop-culture zings accompanied by hip-hop on the piano.

Created by Gerard Alessandrini, the comic mastermind behind the long-running hit Forbidden Broadway, Spamilton is performed by a versatile cast that knows exactly how to bring out the belly laughter from their audience.

Featuring a crash course on everyone檚 favorite Broadway blockbusters including The Book of Mormon, Chicago and many more, Spamilton merges the classic musical theatre elements of Hamilton with contemporary wisecracks that will have you laughing out loud from your seat.

This fictitious story follows a very famous writer, director and on-stage star who embarks on an ambitious journey to save Broadway from mediocrity and oblivion. Along the way, this sharp and loveable genius not only takes aim at Broadway檚 current mega-hits but manages to make hysterical mincemeat from an expansive array of other productions. Modern hits, beloved classics and everything in-between are pulled into this whirlwind of snarky commentary攏ot even The King and I is safe.

Throughout the show, countless supporting stars drop by to weigh in and top off this already absurd theatrical adventure with a final dash of mayhem.

淭he next best thing to seeing Hamilton, according to the New York Post, Spamilton: An American Parody is a multi-generational delight that will have recovering theatre kids, pop-culture connoisseurs and parody-lovers, alike, thoroughly entertained until the curtains close.
