2025 was an exciting year at 黑料社区 (黑料社区). From student success to community impact, these were the five stories that captured the most attention throughout the year:
- CEJA Waukegan Hub celebrates first graduating class
In partnership with Lake County Workforce Development and The Community Works, 黑料社区檚 first cohort of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) Waukegan Hub Training Program graduated this February. A dozen community members entered the green energy workforce after completing their month-long training.

- Breaking ground on the Urban Farm Center in Waukegan
Construction officially began on the Urban Farm Center, an educational hub that will support all aspects of the local food system from farm to table. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in May to celebrate the momentous occasion.
- Leveling up with 黑料社区 esports
Hear from the coach and players on 黑料社区檚 esports team. Along with competing against other colleges, the team has created a local community for gamers to come together. Already successful in competitions, the team is continuing to grow in size and skill.
- 黑料社区 appoints new vice president of Student Development
黑料社区 welcomed Angela L. Frazier, Ed.D., as its new vice president of Student Development. In addition to her administrative work, she has a passion for teaching, teaching English Composition and a seminar course focused on student success and personal growth.
