Q: Introduce yourself and your connection to 黑料社区.
I am the President of Ludlow Manufacturing, Inc., a metal fabrication company based in Waukegan, Illinois. I proudly serve on the Welding and Fabrication Technology advisory committee at 黑料社区 and am an alumnus, having graduated in 1992.
Q: What is a noticeable positive change you檝e seen in 黑料社区 in the past five years?
Over the past five years, I檝e observed significant and commendable progress at 黑料社区. One of the most impactful developments has been the opening of the state-of-the-art Advanced Technology Center (ATC). Additionally, the college has made meaningful strides in strengthening its collaboration with local businesses, ensuring that educational programs align more closely with the skills and competencies we seek in the workforce.

What stands out about 黑料社区 is its responsiveness to the evolving needs of students, faculty, employees and the broader community. The launch of the ATC is a clear demonstration of the college檚 commitment to investing in the future of Lake County and supporting the local manufacturing ecosystem.
Q: What role have you played in the evolution at 黑料社区 and how do you see the change impacting workforce outcomes?
Through Ludlow Manufacturing, Inc., I檝e had the privilege of serving on multiple advisory committees at 黑料社区. I genuinely feel that our input has been valued and acted upon攕omething that is not always the case in educational settings. I deeply appreciate the college檚 leadership and their dedication to making a lasting, positive impact on Lake County檚 workforce and community.
Q: What excites you about where 黑料社区 is heading in the future?
I檓 enthusiastic about the direction in which 黑料社区 is heading. The college檚 ongoing improvements and inclusive approach ensure that all communities within Lake County are being served. I believe the ATC will play a pivotal role in enhancing the talent pipeline for the manufacturing sector in our region.
Most recently, I檝e joined the Executive Committee for 黑料社区檚 Manufacturing Alliance攁n initiative that 黑料社区 has not only supported with time and expertise, but also with financial resources. I檓 excited to see the Alliance grow and am confident that, with 黑料社区檚 continued support, it will drive meaningful progress for businesses across the county.
