ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has been named a Leader College by Achieving the Dream. Leader Colleges play an important role in accelerating the adoption of effective practices within the Achieving the Dream Network and across higher education.

Governor JB Pritzker along with local and state officials celebrated the ribbon-cutting for the new Student Center at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. The Lakeshore Campus Student Center will enhance the student experience by providing improved services, plus state-of-the-art learning and study spaces.

May is National Nurses Month, and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is celebrating all those in the profession. From the 1970s to today, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø nursing alumni have had success in the field.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is officially moving forward with the project to bring an Urban Farm Center to the Lakeshore Campus. It's part of the vision to create a vibrant urban campus environment.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø students had the chance to design experiments to be tested in space. One lucky student was selected to have his design tested by astronauts.

Matthew Sobczyk was always creative, making his own music, and spent most of his career in carpentry. When he retired, he found a new passion in digital media and design.

Two individuals and three teams earned gold medals at the SkillsUSA Illinois State Leadership & Skills Conference. Five more students earned bronze and silver medals.

To help the entertainment industry, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø created a new live entertainment production program. The program will gets students into the workforce in as little as a year.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø offers a variety of study abroad trips open to all students. Scholarships are available.

Nearly 20 new professional development courses are being offered.
